Shridevi PG Center,affiliated to Tumkur University , was established in the year 2005 by Shridevi Charitable Trust, with a view of imparting high quality Education in the field of Science & Commerce with a mission to transform the young minds into master minds by imparting value oriented education with utmost discipline as core values, in the fields of Science and Commerce.

Shridevi P.G.Center, Tumkur is located in a sprawling area of 4 acres adjoining four lane golden quadrilateral national Highway no.4. It is at a distance of 5 Km from both Bus and Railway stations of Tumkur. The institute is easily accesible by autos and town-buses plying on the route. A beautiful and serene campus is needed for healthy learning. The stimulating environment and serenity are both very inspiring for the body and the mind.

The institute has all modern resources needed to provide quality education and facilitate better learning. The college is provided with well equipped seminar hall with LCD and OHP Projectors, a central library and a computer centre and other infrastructural facilities confirming to the University norms. During the last five years the Shridevi PG Center has emerged as a premier institute of higher learning among the affiliated colleges of Tumkur University. Besides teaching, research (M.Phil & Ph.D.) is undertaken in Biotechnology and Chemistry.
